With summer just around the corner, it’s time for our annual enchilada fundraiser! We invite you to join to enjoy some homemade enchiladas with the fixings made by Ciudad Nueva parents, kids, and other community members!
Why Summer Camp?
Ciudad Nueva’s summer camp is a highlight every year. It’s a time when our staff and students can grow and connect while learning how to serve each other. At camp, our staff and volunteers have been blessed to witness the kids take on new challenges and walk toward deeper relationships.
At camp, we work hard to equip tomorrow’s leaders.
In fact, we’ve seen campers come back again and again to camp, eager for more growth and connection. One camper came back when he grew up, equipped with the tools to serve as a camp counselor and mentor. Summer camp makes a real difference in the lives of our students and their families. It’s a chance for kids to unwind, try new things, and talk about the challenges they face in their everyday lives.
In previous years, students played games, enjoyed the thrill of a zipline, and spent time in the great outdoors. This year, some parts of the camp will be different to keep everyone safe.
How The Fundraiser and Camp Will Be Modified For COVID-19
Our team is thrilled to be able to have summer camp this year. We’ve had to make several changes in the past year, but campers will still have a blast in the outdoors. Careful planning is helping us create a safe and fun camp.
Ciudad Nueva’s enchilada fundraiser is organized in partnership with parents and other supportive adults in our community. Though this year, we will not be offering onsite dining, it will be such a blessing to see the faces of our community, even through a pickup event.
Fundraiser Details
You are warmly invited to order some delicious, homemade enchiladas to support our summer camp. Here are the details:
- When: Sunday, May 16
- Time: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- How to Order: You may call Bethany at (915) 307-0454 or email your order at admin@ciudadnueva.org. We also offer on-site delivery.
- Menu:
- $8.00 – Enchilada plate
- $18.00 – One dozen
- $5.00 – Side of rice and beans
- $5.00 – Small tub of extra sauce
- Pick Up: Orders are available for pick up only.
- For the safety of our staff and community, please wear a mask during on-site ordering and pick up.
As we plan for a great year, we are anticipating another chance to equip tomorrow’s leaders through our summer camp. If you’d like to join us, we are looking forward to seeing you at the fundraiser!
