Every summer we provide an opportunity for middle school students to experience summer camp with Young Life. Along with the typical summer experiences including exciting activities, outdoor time to explore Creation, and crazy fun sing-alongs, summer camp for our students can be a life-changing event. Most of our students have limited resources, so summer camp, or any kind of travel really, would be an impossible dream. Unfortunately I have a tendency to think that I'm more athletically adventurous than what I am actually physically capable of. Because of this I tend to bite off more “adventure” then I can actually chew. I may be the first to sign up for a high rapid rafting trip, but I'm probably going to be the first one to fall out of the raft. Joy and Squirt Guns

Mentors at Ciudad Nueva
Mitzy is one of Ciudad Nueva's high school students. She took some time to describe one of the mentors that impacted her life and her faith.
