Sofia Goes To College (Tour)

Sofia is one of our high school students who participated in the Catalyst program this past year. She has been involved with Ciudad Nueva since she was in third grade and will be entering her junior year of high school this fall. Sofia loved hearing about all the different careers in Catalyst from the guest speakers and the workplace tours. Summer Camp: A Place for Growth

Every summer we provide an opportunity for middle school students to experience summer camp with Young Life. Along with the typical summer experiences including exciting activities, outdoor time to explore Creation, and crazy fun sing-alongs, summer camp for our students can be a life-changing event. Most of our students have limited resources, so summer camp, or any kind of travel really, would be an impossible dream. Summer Camp Stories

Two of our middle school students, Evelyn and Bryan, share their summer camp experiences. Crazy songs by the campfire. Team tug-of-war. Lots and lots of laughter and games. Summer camp is the highlight of the year for many kids. But for our Kids Create students, summer camp is the experience of a lifetime. They look forward to it all year long. Speaking Life

Unfortunately I have a tendency to think that I'm more athletically adventurous than what I am actually physically capable of. Because of this I tend to bite off more “adventure” then I can actually chew. I may be the first to sign up for a high rapid rafting trip, but I'm probably going to be the first one to fall out of the raft. Joy and Squirt Guns
