The Christmas Store is back! This annual Ciudad Nueva event provides an opportunity for families to purchase gifts for 15-20% of retail costs. This allows parents the pride and joy of providing a bountiful Christmas for their families from their own resources rather than receiving a handout from a stranger.

Kids and parents get to experience the joy of giving
Not only do the parents get to go shopping, our Launch Pad students will be able to use the “bucks” they have been earning this fall in their after-school program in the store too. They can buy presents for their family members and find the joy of giving.
Help us make our 2017 Family Christmas Store the best one yet
This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, December 19th, from 9am to 8pm. We will host the store here at Ciudad Nueva and we will serve about 75 families (over 200 kids).
This year our food co-op will be participating in the store so that families can provide a healthy holiday meal at the same time as they purchase their gifts.
Here’s how you can get involved:

- Purchase gifts and drop them off, unwrapped, by Monday, December 18th at one of the following locations:
- Ciudad Nueva: Monday-Thursday afternoons (528 E. Yandell, 79902)

If you would like to donate items, you can bring toys and gifts for all ages, especially ages 7 through 18. We also can use household items such as small appliances, dishes, and linens. Click here for a list of suggestions.
Any monetary donations will help us fill in gaps we have by age groups for the kids.
You are welcome to join in the fun!
We can use help setting up, organizing, and decorating on the 18th. We also need volunteers to help stocking shelves and wrapping gifts on the day of the event, December 19th. This is one of the most fun and festive events of the year, and we would love to have you join us!
