At the end of a hall in the Diocesan Migrant & Refugee Services, a small table was laid out with three-inch square sheets of brightly colored paper, wire, and scissors. Celebrating Our Quinceañera!
Celebrating 15 years and looking forward to the future Thank you to everyone who came out to our quinceañera fundraiser on November 14, 2019. Over 250 people joined us in celebrating Ciudad Nueva’s 15th anniversary and in looking ahead to our future. We raised over $100,000 for our continued ministry in the Rio Grande District. The fundraiser event featured Mexican cuisine, dancing, and a special word from our founder, Cliff Warner, and his wife, Christine Warner. Fifteen years of growth and transformation Throughout our 15th Anniversary Quinceañera celebration, we’ve been reminded just how blessed we are to participate in the ongoing emergence of a new city — a ciudad nueva — here in the Rio Grande District, a place where lives are transformed and a flourishing community is nurtured.
