“You Never Retire From Ministry”—Joe Gavaldon’s Reflection on His Work at Ciudad Nueva
At Ciudad Nueva, we have seen God accomplish his work through the ministry of our beloved Family Outreach Director, Joe Gavaldon. He retired from his role here at our agency, but we know that God’s work through him is just beginning. God’s Calling In 2009, Joe first felt God’s calling on his life to work in ministry. Our team of volunteers and staff is what makes Ciudad Nueva great. We have a special love for our staff, who dedicate their time, work, and prayers to continue our mission in the El Paso community. COVID-19 has changed many aspects of our city. As El Paso transforms to keep its people safe and healthy, our students’ school experience this fall is new, and may feel uncertain to some. Though this Summer is Different for Everyone, Ciudad Nueva Still has Summer Activities for 2020
The current circumstances in 2020 have created a vastly different summer experience than we’re used to, but Ciudad Nueva remains committed to providing fun, safe, and relationship-building experiences that keep our kids and youth excited and engaged.
